SoulFlare is a fallen star forced to fall to earth by a powerful wizard who wished to harness the stars energy and use it for himself.
Unknown to the wizard however, the energy contained in the star was sentient. The star was so angry at being torn from it's celestial home with no way to return, that he took over the wizards body. After taking possession of the wizards body the star swears vengeance on humanity for their arrogance. It vows to bring eternal night to the Earth so that it may shine once more.
The Renders are the lost and damned souls of the dead that are drawn from the spectral world by SoulFlare's anger towards humanity. The Renders serve as SoulFlares army, always ready to feed on the living and to harvest their souls to serve him.

Oh, whatever it might be. It's great.
My only crit is that the black lines seem to have corrupt a bit, maybe when the image was scaled down. It's only really noticeable on the chest and blades, so running over it with some black again would make it look great.
